Many Thanks to the Helping Hands Who Volunteer Making Crossroads Possible
120 Volunteers deliver most of the services to Crossroads clientele. Volunteers work half or whole day shifts. After being trained, volunteers provide counseling and guidance to each person requesting assistance.
Volunteers staff the Soup Kitchen each Sunday along with one part time employee. This program is open 52 Sundays per year with a different group in charge each week. It is important to note that each group also provides the food that will be served on their Sunday to 800 to 1,000 adults and children.
Crossroads depends on these volunteers who give 18,255 service hours to magnify the good work that can be achieved with the small staff and modest budget of the agency.
